7.31 FACILITIES

The Board of Education recognizes the importance of acquiring and maintaining facilities of a quality and quantity adequate to accommodate the enrollment and the philosophy of education and educational objectives and goals of the School District.
All facilities of the Franklin Local School District shall be well-maintained, free from hazards, enhance the opportunities for learning, and be in compliance with applicable fire and safety laws and regulations and the Operating Standards for Elementary and Secondary Schools of the State Board of Education.
Building principals are expected to plan the maintenance and daily schedule of duties for their respective buildings.
